Role:SAP BPC Developer
Location:New York, NY
What youll be doing:
- SAP BPC Administration task including
- System monitoring
- Apply SAP corrections, updates and patches
- Licenses allocation
- End user security
- Appset Administration
- Responsible for the documentation, communication, and management of the EPM (BPC) 10.1 system
- Roll out new BPC functionality, enhancements, and improvements for financial reporting
- Communicate status and document system changes to the appropriate business levels
- Manage and maintain master data in BPC
- Training new and existing users on current and new functionality
- Troubleshoot transactional data discrepancies
- Manage data and information requests through use of BPC application
- Provide direction/advice as needed with end users
- Participate in the full development cycle from requirements gathering to solution development.
- Translate business needs into BPC solutions
- Adhere to best practices
- Development and monitoring of BPC Data manager packages
- Development of BPC scripts
- Assist in troubleshooting and fine-tuning the BPC environment
- Provide technical documentation on work performed
- Resolve user/system issues and apply preventative measures to improve existing processes and procedures
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years experience in BPC development including Planning and Consolidations
- Full understanding of the EPM add-in, report/input building, EPM functions, and the EPM formatting sheet
- Excellent understanding the SAP FI module
- Strong financial understanding
- Ability to communicate BPC technical matters in business terminology
- Good understanding of SAP BW interface in relation to BPC functions
- Excellent knowledge of the BPC/EPM web client functions (security, work status, Business Process Flows, Business Rules, etc.)
- Skilled in report writing/financial modeling in SAP BPC/EPM
- Skilled in input template development and maintenance
- Strong Communication Skills
- Proficiency in facilitating meetings, interviewing skills for running requirements gathering workshops, and change control/management
- Ability to work as part of the team and be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
