Job Description:

  • The Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role to provide data, analytics and financial budget support for the management team.
  • The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for evaluating the local sales process and recommending the appropriate implementation of tools and processes to enable sales support with the goal of enhancing sales effectiveness.
  • The position requires a strong background in commercial operations and sales enablement, including strategies for alignment, targeting, goal setting, incentive compensation, CRM utilization and developing and reporting on effectiveness metrics.
  • The Sales Operations Manager will also play a key role in financial budget process and sales forecasting.
  • The Sales Operations Manager will be expected to work with the local Canada team and International Partners.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide support for annual/quarterly/monthly sales and expense budget process
  • Identify and recommend appropriate resources to support local sales operations efforts.
  • Develop a wide variety of reporting functions using Salesforce, Oracle, and Tableau.
  • Work directly with local sales management to implement incentive compensation measurement tools and processes, and coordinate payment of incentive compensation through partnership with finance and/or local compensation payment service providers.
  • Work directly with local sales management and support services, as appropriate, to provide tools and oversight for territory alignment, targeting, sales force sizing, goal setting and incentive compensation program design and management.
  • Provide insight to management regarding sales performance at national and territory level with recommendation to maximize sales performance
  • Work with international distributors to develop demand plan and revenue forecasts.
  • Communicate status to management and cross functional teams
  • Partner with Sales Operation and Finance at Corporate Office
  • May require occasional off hours conference calls or meetings to accommodate internal and customers in other time zones.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales effectiveness management tools and practices is a must.
  • Demonstrated successful management of a sales enablement programs is required.
  • Analytical experiencing with basic accounting and financial reports
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to senior management.
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as (Salesforce) and financial systems (Oracle), reporting systems (Tableau)

Education Requirements

B.A or B.S. in Business Operation, Finance, or Mathematics desired, MBA preferred

Language Skills:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
