Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in full development lifecycle within Cognos reporting framework from developing business requirements to QA and production deployment.
  
• Collaborate with outside team members and management to produce deliverables by gathering information and understanding the business needs and objectives.
  
• Assist with ETL processes, dimensional modeling, OLAP cube development, etc.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation for Data Warehouse ETL processes and Business Intelligence reporting tools.
  
• Understand the companys current data and systems environment.
  
• Work with key business users to capture the company\'s reporting requirements.
  
• Work with business users to design reporting and analytical applications that leverage our data infrastructure.
  
• Develop, test, and deploy reporting and analytical applications using Cognos and SQL, as necessary.
  
• Integrate scheduled reports, dashboards, and cube builds into production job streams.
  
• Monitor and optimize report performance.
  
• Assist in employing data analysis and data visualization tools.
  
• Maintain comprehensive, professional and well-organized documentation of reporting, analysis and processes.
  
• Assist and execute on other projects as assigned including administrative tasks as necessary.
  
• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
  
• Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
  
• Maintain a working knowledge of Bank\'s written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
  
• May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelors in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or related field or equivalent data analyst or business intelligence experience.
  
• 3+ years relevant work experience.
  
• Experience with the Cognos BI tools Business Objects, Some WebFOCUS experience preferred.
  
• Self-service experience preferred.
  
• Experience with Framework modeling and cube construction in Transformer within Cognos or other cubing solution.
  
• Experience in relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) and multi-dimensional databases (e.g. Cognos PowerPlay cubes).
  
• Intermediate SQL and/or PL/SQL skills required.
  
• Experience with system design/development methodology (RUP, SDLC, BIM, etc.).
  
• Intermediate knowledge of Source Code Control tools such as PVCS, Visual Source Safe, or Microsoft TFS.
  
• Experience with automated job scheduling tools.
  
• Knowledge of data query and/or expression languages (SQL, MDX, etc.) and experience with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft PowerView, MicroStrategy, Strategy Companion, IBI, etc.).
  
• Strong business operations knowledge and analytics, statistics and problem solving skills.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal customer relationships.
  
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
  
• A desire to learn and willingness to work hard in a dynamic environment handing multiple tasks simultaneously to closure.
  
• Ability to train and present to small and large audiences.
