Role: ERP (JDE) Systems Analyst
Location:Orange County, CA
Position Overview
- The ERP Systems Analyst will provide ongoing technical support of the company's ERP system (JD Edwards World A9.2). Modules and system functionality to be supported include, but are not limited to:
- Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, General Ledger, Fixed Asset Management, Project Management Data Management, Sales and Operations Planning, Sales Forecast Management, Reporting.
Typical job duties:
- Lead responsibility for day-to-day support and system administration of corporate ERP system and related problem resolution. Assist business users with troubleshooting, data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
- Manage and maintain end-to-end Change Control process to ensure all proposed ERP-related program changes are thoroughly evaluated for business impact, analyzed, tested, promoted and implemented.
- Business process analysis and improvement utilize the core business processes capabilities inherent within the ERP system to provide the basis for gathering business requirements, performing gap analysis, researching and evaluating alternative solutions, and documentation and optimization of business processes.
- Shared responsibility with ERP Systems Manager, Project Manager, and ERP Support Analyst for data integrity, maintenance and analysis of ERP system, as well as in developing and deploying custom reports, and leading ad-hoc user training.
- Support and assist Corporate ERP IT support staff with ongoing technical tasks (application programming, configuration, etc.).
- Provide support for software testing and validation efforts to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentoring to system users and IT staff related to the ERP system.
- Participate in third party application integrations with the corporate ERP system as well as with various other software enhancements and implementation projects.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in supporting integrated corporate ERP systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA, SOX, and other auditable data management requirements.
- Strong background in JD Edwards World software and related tools and 3rd party integrated applications SQL/DBU, ROBOT, IBM Client Access, RF SMART, SOX Lock, ADP, etc.
- Ability to research and provide system solutions for ERP system issues, troubleshoot software issues, work effectively with IT, technical consultants and business users.
- Broad experience with various software platforms is a plus, including SQL database queries and management, report-writers (Crystal, SQL, etc.), web-based systems configuration, mobile software technologies, etc.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
