Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acts as business partner, providing support to human resources and management teams by
  • Conducting meetings and working closely with HR and management to improve HR business processes and reporting and analytics available to the organization.
  • Providing guidance and input on process design and improvement to increase efficiencies within the organization.
  • Developing and maintaining change management and training programs for end users to continuously be able to utilize the system effectively.
  • Analyzing business needs and making recommendations on how to best utilize the HRIS.
  • Manages the HRIS team strategy and budget by:
  • Aligning Workday initiatives with the goals of the business and developing HRIS roadmap to support this
  • Determining project priorities based on business needs
  • Determining Workday metrics for success and evaluating on a quarterly basis, taking corrective action when necessary to bridge any gaps
  • Participating in the annual budget process and forecasting the needs for the HRIS team
  • Reviewing monthly P&L to ensure there are no unexpected overages

Performs supervisory functions to HRIS Team by:

  • Communicating job expectations
  • Planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  • Coaching, counseling and disciplining staff
  • Initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures
  • Approving direct reports time sheets, requests for time off and/or overtime
  • Performing timely performance evaluations of direct reports
  • Coordinating and conducting new hire interviews; facilitating hiring decision
  • Training new hires on company processes and responsibilities
  • Secondary Responsibilities
  • Contributes to team effort by
  • Cross-training and serving as back up to other HR functions
  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes
  • Performing other duties as assigned Maintains Technical Knowledge by
  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training
