PositionDescription:  

PennDOT seeks a Business Analyst 3 to serve in the role ofData Business Analyst for the Inspections Project. 

The Data Business Analyst works closely with the Inspectionsproject manager, business analysts, data architects and applicationsdevelopers. He/she will be primarily responsible for the mapping of dataelements from the “as-is” to the “to-be” system, verifying proper conversion ofdata and communicating to the project team, business areas and management onthe status of assigned tasks and responsibilities.

•          Understandingof relational databases, data models, ER diagrams. (Required 5 Years)
  
•          Full-timeexperience as a quality assurance tester/SME for large and complex informationtechnology projects. (Required 5 Years)
  
•          Abilityto write moderately involved SQL statements (basic table joins with 2-4 tables,select statements within select statements). (Required )                  
  
•          Strongoral and written communication skills. (Required )                              
  
•          Demonstratedability to effectively communicate with business and IT staff at all levels ofan organization, including executive staff. (Required )                         
  
•          Strongleadership skills with the ability to make decisions and motivate others tocomplete tasks. (Required )                      
  
•          Experienceas a Business Analyst working on large, complex information technologyprojects.    (Desired 5 Years)
