Role:- Plumbing Engineer

Loc:- Snyder, NE

SUMMARY:

• The Plumbing Engineer position is responsible for the design of pump and plumbing systems (water, and some hydraulics), including material selection, fabrication methods, and drafting standards.

• Produce designs that meet cost, quality, reliability, performance, and serviceability targets
• Create and manage models, drawings, bills of material and other pertinent engineering data
• Incorporate customer requirements and needs into a robust design
• Apply engineering design changes into the manufacturing process
• Provide manufacturing process support Evaluate, test and specify materials for cost reduction, quality improvement, and/or new product introduction
• Evaluate current designs for product and cost improvement opportunities Interface with all areas of the team to determine product needs and specifications
• Solve complex problems with minimal assistance

• Associates or Technical degree required; Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Background in complex machine or vehicle product design
• 2+ years of Solid works 3D modeling experience minimum o Must be well versed in top down design methodology
• 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience minimum
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability in bringing engineering projects to completion, on time and within budget
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, motivated, team player Thorough understanding of the production manufacturing operations and design for manufacturability
• Demonstrated knowledge of materials specifications, properties, and processing techniques
