Job Description:
Responsibilities
· Review quality assurance systems, procedures and methods on an on-going basis to ensure efficient operation and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
· Lead the transition of the business unit from an ISO9000 quality system to a AS9100 quality system.
· Direct quality-related activities in conjunction with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other department/function that affects the quality of goods and services.
· Responsible for day-to-day Quality System Management, supplier evaluation/audits, CB audits, corrective actions, NPI (New product / process Introduction) and reporting.
· Responsible for product conformance to all customer, regulatory and company standards.
· Responsible for group contract review and customer QN (quality notes) flow down, customer problem resolution.
· Responsible for Quarterly Quality Reviews, QBR (Quarterly Business Review), KPI (Key performance Indicators), performance improvement and reporting.
· Responsible for budget, review and approval of all key expenditures.
· Responsible for ESD, FAI (first article inspection), DRN (deviations), chemical checks, audit support and product screening support of Manufacturing/Production.
· Participate in the overall management of the business unit as a member of the senior management team.
Education/Experience
· Bachelor\'s degree in a technical field -- Electrical or Software Engineering preferred.
· Minimum 10 years industry, including 5 years in a quality management role
· Knowledge of AS9100 quality system
