Job description SQL Data Analyst Data Analyst has a real passion for finding trends and pattern in data. She/he uses already established tool and techniques to get insights from large complex data sets. Despite having over 4+ years of experience, a Data Analyst at BRL will still be an active technician: tinkering with new open source solutions, using unfamiliar technologies without any supervision and learning new tools in their spare time, etc. Conduct business analysis, collect business requirements and translate them into BI Solution leveraging best practices Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) Knowledge of reporting packages (Business Objects etc), statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.) Practitioner of statistical data quality procedures or test driven approach for quality assurance Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior executives\' at large companies, able to visualize and report insights creatively in variety of formats to various stakeholders Minimum Qualifications BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics Professional (non-academic) work experience in data analyst role SQL experience with writing complex queries in MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar databases Work experience with SSIS, SSRS and ETL
