APPLICATIONS SYSTEMS DATA SPECIALIST (NEWARK)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
SQL
· Develop and maintain a user self-serve SQL Reporting interface and platform to provide business intelligence and visibility
· Assist with planning and performing SQL database consolidations and migrations adhering to best practices
· Configure and maintain SQL instance and database health monitoring and respond to alerts and notifications.
· Configure, maintain, and document SQL database maintenance and backup plans and schedules.
· Develop and maintain reports and interfaces to allow integrating data from different database sources to be viewed and queried.
· Write T-SQL queries and views to quickly respond to requests for business and data intelligence.
Document Management (iManage)
· Assist with planning and performing Document management infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
· Assist with DMS projects such as archiving, Workspace restructuring, security management, and ethical wall integrations.
· Develop SQL Reports to gain visibility into the state of filing health of documents and usage of existing Workspace folders.
Desktop and Application Deployment and Maintenance
· Assist with application packaging and SCCM Task Sequence development, maintenance, and deployment
· Build, deliver, and maintain the firm\'s virtual desktops (XenApp and XenDesktop)
and endpoint.
Other
· Deliver prompt quality customer support to end-users by providing support and final resolution to 2nd and 3rd level escalated Support Center tickets
· Deliver high quality end-user system performance, experience, stability and security through design recommendations and system specifications
Skills, Competencies, Requirements, and Qualifications
SQL
· Ability to perform SQL server migrations across environments adhering to best practices
· Extensive administration understanding of all SQL Server relational database management
· Strong understanding of SQL analysis services, reporting services, and integration services
· Knowledge of all native SQL high-availability and disaster recovery options (Always On, mirroring, replication, and log shipping)
· Expertise with SQL scripting, stored procedures, and automated integration tasks.
· Expertise with SQL Server, and T-SQL
Document Management
· Proven design, planning and implementation experience with the IManage WorkSite DMS platform including upgrades and migration from earlier versions, including strong expertise on the following components: Worksite Server, WorkSite IDOL, WorkSite Communication, WorkSite IOS Mobility.
· Full understanding of the iManage database schema and backend infrastructure.
· Knowledge of Law firm ethical wall systems is a plus.
· Proven expertise with document management systems (iManage), and an understanding of data warehousing, enterprise data integration methods, and other leading-edge technology.
Desktop and Application Deployment and Maintenance
· Experience with configuring and maintaining Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and PVS environments
· Experience with VMWare environments
· Experience with Microsoft Systems Management (SCCM) and Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
· Experience with Group Policy and Group Policy Preferences
Other
· Experience with the legal desktop applications layer including Microsoft Office, iManage, Elite, DTE/IntApp Time, LexisNexis Interaction, and New Business Intake Workflow is preferred.
· Knowledge of applicable Microsoft technologies including Windows 2003/2008/2012, SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Law Firm experience preferred
