Job Summary: The Business Development Manager-Specialty is responsible for assessing commercial and technical feasibility of new business, such as new technology applied to existing customers and segments and/or existing technology applied to new customers and new market segments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Market Exploration
Make sales contacts, research customer needs and develop application of products and services in nontraditional Crown food, and industrial segments in an effective manner by:
obtaining and coordinating data and information
evaluating product and service marketability in terms of customersâ?? technical and manufacturing needs
following up on sales leads
maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
establishing a communication path with the customer
