Role:Technical Web Developer - ECommerce Location:Texas, TX Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Serve as a member of the Ecommerce Group in accordance with our core values. Audit performance of in all aspects relating to ecommerce and act on findings in the best interest of Kalcorp through developing and implementing comprehensive website testing procedures. Ensure existing website to meets security and functionality standards as outlined on the company's website. Assist in updating website policies to ensure that all current website configurations and future website changes meet the latest technical requirements. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to gain understanding into the types of technical support needed to assist with their areas of responsibility. Key Skills And Attributes Ability to understand processes from beginning to end combined with problem-solving ability. Approach duties with an attitude of urgency and agency, and attention to detail. Hands-on, extensive experience with the following technologies and methodologies: HTML/CSS, PHP (Zend Framework), OOP, Javascript, Ajax, XML Basic understanding of LAMP implementation and how databases work in general Troubleshooting and research - specifically as it relates to multiple software implementations, their interactions and as it relates to the enterprise as a whole General knowledge of networking protocols Broad general knowledge of various hardware and software configurations and ability to offer technical support on various operating systems and end-user applications Communicate effectively with end-users, customers, developers, and other stakeholders Manage and prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a team environment Effectively use modern web standards Ability to create detailed support documentation Formal Qualifications Degree or work related experience in essential areas, particularly relating to Ecommerce Professional Experience 2+ years in various areas of business directly involved with application support, technical support and/or programming Ecommerce - understanding the process flow of receiving, fulfilling, packing, shipping orders Customer Service - understanding problem prevention as an important aspect to customer service and the special needs of an online shopper Content Management - understanding the necessary parts of a complete listing Sales - understanding of customer motivations Technical Support - basic understanding of how various software works and the importance of configurations to end results Application Support - understanding of how users interact with software and applications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
