Title: Java Designers

Work from Home

1 to 2 years contract

Client wantto have them start the week of Nov 27^th in Greenville for training.

The key tothe job is the type of Java work the consultants have been doing. Theenvironments they have been working in and the types of systems that they areexperienced with. We need consultants who have worked on large systems withthousands of records and multiple data streams. People who are experienceddoing design for modifications to an existing system. THIS IS NOT NEWDEVELOPMENT. There is a big difference between having to learn a new complexsystem and then modify it based on workflow documentation provided by BA’s anddoing new development from scratch. These people we provide will spendliterally months learning Client system before they can even be useful. People whohave a bunch of 1 year or less assignments have not been doing this type ofwork. They have been doing development where they get in and get out quickly.That is not what we have here.

People withexperience in the insurance field will get special consideration. Again, needto be working on existing systems mods, not new development.

As for theJava requirements, we certainly need the ability to do Java designs, andunderstand Java, BUT people with the right type of experience can overcome someshortcomings with regard to all of the specific java requirements.

Please donot send me people unless they meet these requirements. It is just a waste oftime for all of us. When submitting please specify in the write up where thecandidate has worked with large systems and done mods as described in thisemail. Also highlight any insurance experience they may have.

This is along term role, think 1 to 2 years at a minimum. Green card and citizens arestrongly preferred, but we can work with others as long as they have theability to work for at least next 2 years.
