Position Overview
The purpose of this position is to provide expertise in the development, support and maintenance of the ongoing implementation of the company HIE initiative with our Joint Ventures. This role will be responsible for the underlying analysis required for evaluation of initial provider connections, additional downstream connections, on-going support and maintenance, management and execution of test scenarios and test cases. They will work together with our Interoperability team to ensure new implementations and updates to the Exchange are implemented on time. The role will also provide support for interfaces for disparate applications throughout the hospitals to ensure database integrity across systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Supports the implementation of the HIE with our provider partners.
- Analyzes incoming data streams and works in conjunction with technical staff to map and validate new or existing connections. -Provides analytics with regard to provider integration to ensure new data is properly consumed.
- Maintains documentation repository for analytical reports, provider implementation materials and strategies for use by and for multiple audiences.
- Create and manage a library of test cases consistent with organizational protocols and tools related to testing new implementations as well as regression testing of existing feature sets.
- Maintain provider relationships by supporting connected hospital implementation teams to field questions and concerns.
- Creates routine internal performance reports to effectively communicate status, risk, and return to all stakeholders.
- May assist to update, upgrade and maintain interface engine for optimal performance and functionality.
- Provides expert knowledge and responsibility for designing, developing, testing and maintaining interfaces in healthcare environment, while leading the development process between vendors, and facilitate the interface needs of the outsourced client. -Provide expert knowledge for designing, developing, testing, and integrating with Enterprise Master Patient Indexing (EMPI) solutions.Other

- Ability to work off-hours and on call when required.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology related field of study; or 4+ years technical work experience.
- Health Level 7 (HL7) and CDA record format expertise.
- Implementation experience using Db Motion, preferred.
- Implementation experience with EMPI solutions, preferred.
- In depth knowledge and experience with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.
- Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication.
