Job description Client is a web design and development agency specializing in ecommerce and multi-channel experiences. Client is looking for a Web Application Developer to join our team in Orlando. The Web Application Developer position is a key role at company because it requires a high level of technical expertise, organization and planning skills, and direct communication with our clients. Responsibilities â?¢ Identify solution designs and perform business analysis of client requirements â?¢ Transform requirements into technical task specifications â?¢ Perform periodic code reviews according to Robofirm process standards and best practices â?¢ Act as a subject matter expert as it pertains to website architecture and work with cross-functional teams to help resolve site issues â?¢ Collaborate with various other teams such as Systems Administration, QA and Front End Developm Requirements â?¢ 1-2+ years experience in PHP building object-oriented websites on LAMP stack â?¢ 1-2+ years experience working with the Magento platform (experience with Zend, Symfony, or similar a plus) â?¢ Solid experience interacting with MySQL database systems through abstraction layer (in addition to the ability to write raw SQL queries) â?¢ Experience using best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git or SVN â?¢ Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills â?¢ Experience using PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST) and/or other experience implementing data integrations within the platform a plus â?¢ Strong knowledge of Linux a plus â?¢ Experience in cross-platform development using PHP, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular.js, Node.js, and other JS frameworks a plus
