The Information Technology Services (ITS) is a centraldivision of the University System of Georgia (USG).  The USG is comprisedof 28 higher education institutions 28 institutions enroll over 315,000students each fall.

 

USG Data Governance requirements have been delivered for ournext series of collections and reporting requirements. The programmer will beassisting in multiple areas of the warehouse in support of those requirements.

 

Job Description

 

Skill in addressing known issues and limitations withDatabase 12c Indexing and query performance

Provide support with review and migrating / implementingcoded designs

Review Oracle Database objects assigned for the LyfeCycleAnalysis project

Ensure that all environments are well documented

Performance tuning

Troubleshoot & Break-fix database development resultingfrom object code promotion

Security review and cleanup

Research and recommend technical solutions for Data ElementDictionary and implementation of approved changes

APEX Support

Qualifications

 

Mid-level for Oracle Programmer

Experience with Oracle 12c

Familiar with Oracle Database 12c new features andfunctionality

Experience with Oracle Database 12c

Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts, design and bestpractices in Oracle Database 12c

Strong data analysis and problem solving skills

Strong communication skills

Higher education working experience strongly preferred.
