Job Description:

AS9100 REV D Aerospace Standard Assurance
Maintains existing components of the Quality System.
Customer satisfaction - Achieving customer specifications
Resolution of customer quality issues and internal quality issues
AS9100 systems training
Audit management
Internal
External- Audit Current & Prospective Suppliers
Interface with customers QA contacts
Calibration system oversight/management
QA records maintenance
Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Operations Manager to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Develops processes that will meet customer specifications, and incorporates process specifications into the quality system.
Develops and coordinates the maintenance of Quality Management System. Functions as the AS9100 standards representative. Coordinates Management Review.
Conducts product, process, and system audits.
Responsible for administering employee training, reviewing training needs and developing training plans as related to the Quality Management Systems. Maintains training records.
Assists with investigation of cause and corrective action involving customer returns, complaints or in-process scrap situations and implements corrective action as necessary. Mediate customer complaints/returns.
Maintains reference files for all required customer and industrial specifications.
Compiles master list of documents and data to be controlled.
Maintains AS9100 QMS manuals.
Responsible for approving process of suppliers related to quality performance.
Ensures that all employees receive an introduction to orient them to the quality system of and maintains an employee signature log for verification.
Ensures that all inspection, measuring, and test equipment is calibrated according to AS9100 QMS calibration procedures.
Designates authorized personnel to sign certificates of compliance.
Implements and monitors adherence procedures for Process/Procedure Deviation.
