Working with junior staff; reviewing their work and providing technical assistance to help them achieve their developmental goals
Partnering with attentive finance staff to tackle the financial aspects of project work
Obviously fit will be critical for us to assess for an office that is both small and new. We value our clients and so a fit with them will be important as well. We will look for strong communication skills, professional presentation, and technical expertise. Strong writing skills are critical for this role as is a high level of attention to detail. We can determine these things during the interview process and, of course, we want to make sure we are a fit for you too. Before we get there though, we will look for a few things in your resume:
A Bachelor of Science or Applied Science, or Bachelor of Engineering
A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is definitely an asset
At least 10 yearsâ?? experience within environmental consulting, ideally 7 of those years will be in a project management position
Experience in the completion and project management of work in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O.Reg. 153/04
Must possess familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management
Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
