Job Responsibilities: The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will work onsite at the customers location and will be tasked with the following responsibilities: Serve as a technical subject matter expert, directly monitor test scripts, test execution and maintenance of technical documentation Lead the evaluation of the product functionality and support test strategy accordingly Develop and execute comprehensive, structured, detailed test plans and cases Take ownership of product quality, understand end user quality concerns and incorporate into test runtimes Identify gaps in test coverage, and prioritize those gaps Management of bug tracking, testing progress, coverage and metrics; prepare and communicate reports as needed Participate in various stages of SDLC, interpret and report testing results; be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process Work with the team to identify test automation and develop and implement scripts for effective test automation Candidate Profile: 7+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience for web and windows software applications Expertise in functional, regression and performance testing of large scale .NET applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, TFS / Microsoft Test Manager Strong experience in managing end-to-end testing lifecycle, including development of test plans/test cases, execution of test scripts, leading code reviews, defect management, debugging, reporting and recommending software code changes to enhance the product quality Experience working with bug or issue tracking, version control, build automation, continuous integration, and project management tools Experience with white box, performance and / or security testing is a plus Experience in using software test automation frameworks like Selenium, Coded UI and script development using C#, Typescript, JavaScript, Perl etc. is a plus Demonstrate problem solving skills and possess ability to quickly understand and evaluate complex and evolving functional requirements Excellent communication skills writing, presentations, interpersonal skills 2+ years of testing experience with industrial Automation, Process Automation or Control Systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI etc.) software a Plus
