Required Skills and Experience

·         7 to 10 year experience in the data warehousing and businessintelligence fields.

·         Current, hands-on knowledge of big data technologies (NoSQL, Hadoopetc.) with MongoDB experience of particular interest.

·         Experience with private, public and hybrid Cloud computing concepts.

·         Deep understanding scale out of distributed systems and an understandingof data and system integration in such environments. Working knowledge of Azureor AWS platforms preferred.

·         Solid understanding of security and privacy from a data and processperspective.

·         Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016 required,with exposure to the Microsoft suite of BI tools (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI) aplus.

·         Experience in one or more of the following preferred: Java, .Net,Python, Javascript, R.

·         Working knowledge of Erwin, ERStudio, or other data modeling tool

·         Strong technical acumen and excellent problem-solving skills with astrong aptitude for data and business analysis.

·         Knowledge of the Property and Casualty Insurance domain - particularlyPolicy Administration of Commercial and Personal insurance policies preferred.

·         Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies a plus

·         Familiarity with source code control concepts and use of Team FoundationServer

·         The candidate should demonstrate strong inter-personal and communicationskills. Must be able to interact face-to-face with employees at all levels ofthe organization from Line of Business associates to Senior Management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or SoftwareEngineering preferred
