Job Description:
Title: Tooling and Automation Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6 months
Education: BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years of experience developing web services.
- Strong experience as a Software Engineer deploying high-quality Java or Python web services in a production environment.
- 5+ years’ experience writing automation/scripts/tools on POSIX systems
- 3+ years’ experience writing Python code and Java code
- 5+ years’ experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST
- 2+ years working in a distributed environment, building and/or consuming microservices
- Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
- Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
