SUMMARY:
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for all key aspects of a company critical product portfolio including distribution and channel mix, product positioning, pricing policies, expected revenues, brand management, launch plans to meet the planned results. Implements and monitors marketing strategy for the assigned products in liaison with Senior Director Product Development and Marketing and sales team. Manages slow moving or outdated inventory, resolves product allocation issues. Defines (corrective) actions and formulates marketing support requirements to improve on business objectives.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for conceiving and developing new products and marketing initiatives for demand generation using customer and competitor market intelligence to drive product adoption & sales growth.
Defines the product portfolio, the product positioning, pricing, distribution and promotion plan.
Manages data for the assigned products.
Confers with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential relevant projects or products.
Prepares product specifications to ensure product development initiatives meet or exceed customer and/or consumer expectations.
Assists in establishing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share
