Role:Senior Salesforce Developer Location:Fox River Grove, IL Essential Job Functions: Work with the Business departments and Product team to transform requirements into functional and scalable solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. Translate requests and requirements into development work within the client solution Guide and mentor other Salesforce developers on the team Determine scope and corresponding effort estimates for development projects Design object model and code structure for desired solutions Develop high quality, reusable and maintainable code Create and execute Unit and Integration tests Provide handoff and assist QA Release management, including preparation and deployment of Salesforce Packages as well as maintaining version control. Review and keep current client Salesforce Documentation Contiguous focus on improvement and efficiency. Reduce Complexity Do You Qualify: BS Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent. Salesforce Certifications Required (Platform Developer II (Architect Certifications a plus) 5 to 8 years of experience in Salesforce ERP Development 2+ yearsâ?? experience contributing to functional architecture Exposure and experience in key areas in integration with Billing and Identity solution and implementations. Exposure to key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and master data management. Development and release management experience. Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via new Salesforce technology, API integrations, or other App Exchange products. Solid technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce Platform, APEX, Visualforce Declarative tools, interfaces Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts (e.g. API and governor limits, security models and techniques) Languages: APEX, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, other object-oriented languages such as .Net Experience developing lightning components a plus Mobile Design Experience a plus Experience with Zuora, Salesforce Identity, Pardot a plus but not required Solid coding practices including reusability, unit testing, code review, source control versioning, change sets and migration tools Ability to understand business rules and process as applicable to Salesforce. Experience with Agile implementation methodologies. Guiding business in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies that drive increased business value. Desire to keep current on new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies. Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
