Job Description:

Principal Objective:
This position is primarily responsible for all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes between internal users, external trading partners, and external network providers.
This includes the creation, modification, and testing of all EDI maps, the daily monitoring of EDI file processing, the troubleshooting of issues impacting successful receipt or delivery of client files, the setup and testing of new additions to existing trading partners, and the definition and implementation of new and improved automated processes.
Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor system alerts and reports to insure consistent 24x7 data processingTroubleshoot/resolve any data transmission/processing anomalies to completion in a timely mannerPerform application and data analysis when needed; analyze and review report and interface data for accuracyAssist managers and analysts with data inquiries as neededDevelop test cases using design documentsConduct testing and write up all issues foundRe-test of issues after fixes are created to confirm testing passesResolve questions and take appropriate action when requested information is not includedRequirements and


QualificationsExperience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience with EDI management requiredDemonstrated track record of designing and optimizing business processesExperience in supply chain or distribution preferredInternational experience a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with all EDI-related components, protocols and message typesPractical hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.x preferredUnderstanding of: AS2, OFTP2, x.400, SFTP, SOAP, VAN communication protocols and ANSI EDI Standards X12, X/12, X-12Ability to translate IDOC Messages to EDI FormatsSAP B2B tool kit or other B2B toolsSetting up and maintenance of trading partnersFamiliarity with data communication protocols/standards and manufacturing-related eCommerceGood sense of rapid response and escalation protocolDetail-oriented; passion to discover/resolve anomalies; proactively seeks out process improvementsAdaptable to change; willingly changes direction, responsible to changing prioritiesExperience with 800 and 900 series messages preferredStrong problem-solving/analytical skills; demonstrated ability to analyze and formulate solutions to complex business and/or technical problems; able to create action plans from conclusionsAbility to prioritize in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentPossess strong attention to detail and adherence to documentation standardsExcellent discovery and active listening skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; successfully communicates in technical, non-technical and user-friendly termsAdept in establishing positive and effective working relationships with key customer stakeholders; works well with cross functional and diverse groups to achieve common goalsTechnology:Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, XML, EDI and CSV file formats.Database (Access, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) experience highly desired.SFTP, SOAP, REST, XML, HTTP5, VAN


Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of studySpecialization in Supply Chain preferred
