JOB TITLE: Salesforce (SFDC) Architect
Basic Function: Please note that this is a contract opportunity. This positon is responsible for building/developing Salesforce application logic/functionalities. The Salesforce developer will work with business partners within company and the IT Business Analyst and Salesforce Administrator who serve as liaisons between the IT organization and the business unit, to understand business functions, processes, operations, business requirements, technical requirements, and business rules in order to develop solutions to meet the business needs.

Essential Duties:
- Reviews and clarifies current system capabilities, workflow, and limitations
- Reviews and clarifies functional and non-functional requirements
- Reviews and/or develops technical requirements
- Develops and/or enhances application and database components of Salesforce system
- Responsible for designing new Salesforce solutions and developing effective implementation and back out plans
- Coordinates the installation of updates/changes to Salesforce programs and system
- Develops custom integration solutions including enhancements to major interfaces
- Participates as necessary in the development of test cases, test scenarios, and test plans to support business requirement
- Responsible for building functionality by creating Salesforce triggers and creating Visual force or Apex pages based on the requirements of the customer
- Contributes towards building customized applications by making the best use of point-and-click capabilities of the Salesforce platform
- Responsible for controlling the implausible adaptability of Salesforce CRM application programming interfaces (API) for integration of information and processes so that all the systems within the CRM can communicate efficiently
- Responsible for adding value to the project in all phases -definition, development, and deployment
- Researches, evaluates and recommends new tools and applications for use
- Identifies and implements changes, modifications, monitoring, and testing according to approved business requirements
- Provides training/knowledge transfer to other IT staff on functionality developed or enhanced

- Salesforce Developer Certification (DEV 401) and Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing custom Salesforce applications and analytics
- Knowledge of computer programming, systems analysis, and design principles and practices
- Experience with Salesforce integration technology
- Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge
