- The ideal candidate should have the experience to design and develop the layout, construction, and evaluation of a variety of prototype PCBs, fixtures, and tools.
- Applies engineering principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems. Remains abreast of and consults on technical advancements. Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes.
- Candidate should have experience in designing circuits for a multitude of computer based devices and communication.
- Candidate should possess the skills and knowledge of Bluetooth, Wireless Communication, USB and power consumption.
- Preference would be someone who has designed circuits and PCBs for computers, Modems, Hubs and Wireless devices.
- Candidate should be able to work in a team setting and possess the ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
- Good organization skills and the ability to plan their workload in order to meet deadlines.
Job Duties:
- Leads and/or participates on engineering teams and in design reviews to complete development projects on time.
- Completes DC Voltage system/PCB designs, cabling requirements and associated Engineering documentation.
- Sets requirements and specifications for testing electrical circuits and systems, and ensures feasibility and verifiability of performance.
- Leads and performs debugging activities as needed.
- Effectively communicates the project successes, risks, and roadblocks to the appropriate management levels.
- Identifies and mitigates project risks.
- Conceptualizes new designs using technical expertise and innovative approaches.
- Interfaces and communicates affectively with various internal functions and outside vendors.
- Establishes test methods.
- Ensures compliance with procedural and documentation requirements of ROHS, Reach, UL and CE requirements.
- Leads and contributes to strategic initiatives for continuous improvement
- Solves complex and diverse technical problems by applying sound judgment, creativity, appropriate data analysis, and technical expertise.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in product development/engineering with a significant portion in DC, communication and low voltage charging environments.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.

- Project leadership and continuous improvement skills
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Possesses a positive attitude with strong interpersonal and team skills
- Printed circuit board design, schematic entry, and design simulation
- Familiarity with IEC 60601 family of standards
- Solidworks PCB or similar PCB program experience
