• Work with client's business community to understand and define data requirements.
• Design, develop and test Universes as required to support data requirements for the business.
• Guide business WEBI developers in best practices and help with complex reporting needs.
• Define and implement standards, ensuring security and configuration are consistent throughout the landscape.
• Optimizing the performance of enterprise business intelligence solutions by defining opportunities to redesign data flows.
• Perform realistic assessments of development time.
• Conduct research and analysis to create innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications Required:

• B.S. degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of SAP Business Objects experience. Experience with Power BI is a Plus.
• Proven experience designing and building universes and WEBI reporting solutions using Business Objects Enterprise 4.x.
• Strong experience developing solutions using Live Office and Dashboards.
• Bring in best practices in architecting, designing and supporting BO applications.
• Experience creating publications, troubleshooting security issues, folder and category administration.
• Ability to research new releases of Business Objects and develop business cases to support business sponsors.
• Strong and proven SQL experience for performing data analysis and performance tuning.
• Proficient SQL knowledge and ability to write complex, highly-optimized queries.
