We are seeking experience ATG Web e-Commerce Architects whoare passionate to join a high energy and growing team to be on the ground floorof digital innovation that aims to reinvent the business capabilities in thedigital world. The e-commerce architect should be a hands-on leader who will beresponsible for architecting and owning technical aspects of softwareapplication through all phases of the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

·              Research, architect and develop innovative and highly scalable digitalsolutions and unique experiences for highly trafficked Digital Properties andChannels.

·              Work closely with product owner to provide project estimates based on featuresand envisioned solution

·              Ensure architecture and design of the solution is in alignment with overallenterprise architecture

·              Own solution design (SD) and ensure non-functional requirements are effectivelyaddressed

·              Technical ownership for delivering highly scalable, robust and secure softwareapplications

·              Foster rapid prototyping to evaluate solutions and build a culture ofcontinuous improvement to improve speed to market and reduce total cost ofapplication ownership

·              Perform design and code reviews

·              Provide thought leadership and promote best practices in architectinge-commerce applications

·              Mentor junior software architects/engineers

Required experience:

·              Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·              10-12 years of software architecture, design and development experience inretail/e-commerce space using Java/J2EE

·              5 years of experience architecting  and developing e-commerce solutionsusing ATG Web Commerce Suite and tools, or similar e-commerce application suite(WebSphere Commerce, Demandware etc.), including:

·              Designing and implementing – Customized Profile, Product Catalog, Order flows;Payment, Checkout and Submit Order customizations; Custom Promotion and Couponhandling; Integrations to external systems

·              Experience in one or more of the following cloud platforms: Cloud Foundry,Openshift, AWS Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, Heroku, orother PaaS technologies

·              Working experience with a CI/CD pipeline, GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory,Jenkins, etc.

·              Experience with Angular, Spring-Java and React frameworks; Working knowledge ofNodeJS

·              Extensive and hand on experience with developing Restful Web Services and API’sand implementing Caching and CDN’s

·              A proven track record of owning and driving technical delivery of largedistributed systems

·              Modern data architectures (e.g. event driven architectures, stream processing,and integrating real time analytics into customer applications)

·              Deep understanding of RDBMS systems, preferably Oracle

·              Experience with agile software development (XP, SCRUM)

·              Experience with migrating monolithic/legacy application to micro-services

·              Experience managing software deliverables using tools like Jira / PivotalTracker

·              Experience in big data real time analysis is a plus

·              Experience in OS virtualization and containerization technologies such asDocker or Kubernetes is a plus

·              Agile certification is a plus
