Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Support automationsolutions for source, deploy, pipeline, configuration management

Work with development andproduct management teams to transition and operate cloud based workloads

Continually review andrecommend improvements to operational processes and procedures

Look for opportunities toautomate anything and everything

Ensure Monitoring andAlerting Standards are tested in transition and followed in production

Ensure migrated workloadsmaintain compliance with Security and Governance standards

Ensures the health of theservice meets defined service level expectations

Participate in incidentmanagement and communications, including follow-up with problem resolutionpost-mortem, and process improvement

 

Skillset:

Experience with DevOpsrelated automation tools to include, but not limited to: source mg(GIT,CodeCommit); continuous integration (Jenkins, Jarvis), applicationconfiguration management (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and container management tools( Docker, AWS ECS)

Systems administrationexpertise (Windows, Linux)

Scripting technologies(Powershell, Bash, Python)

Enterprise Monitoring Toolsfor infrastructure and applications

ITIL Foundations andIntermediate Level Transition, Operations, and Continuous Improvement

Enterprise ITSM and CMDBTools

Data Networks – routing,firewalls, load balancers, DNS

Databases – relational andNoSQL

Storage architecture andtechnologies

Security – AccessManagement, Key Management

Cloud Architectures

Automation in a cloudenvironment – Infrastructure as Code, especially using AWS

SDLC and ContinuousIntegration and Continuous Deployment concepts

Risk, Security, and Auditcompliance

 

Qualifications:

1 Year of experience withAWS, certification desired

3 Years of experience withEnterprise ITIL Processes

3 Years of experience withenterprise ITSM or ticketing system

3 Years of experience withmonitoring enterprise systems

3 Years of experience indata center domains (server, network, storage, security)

3 Years of experience withserver and directory service technologies (Windows, Linux, AD, DNS)

Excellent organizationalskills, and oral and written communication skills

Security complianceexperience such as ITIL, PCI, ISO 27001 or SOX

Ability to work withminimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and anunderstanding of business initiatives

Ability to apply criticalthinking to all aspects of the position

Detail oriented withexcellent documentation skills/methodologies, who is able to successfullymanage multiple priorities
