Role:Mechanical Engineering Manager
Location :Littleton, CO
Responsibilities :
- Manages, directs, and coordinates mechanical systems engineering resources in support of major capital projects and limited plant support.Develop, maintain, implement, and perform gate keeper functions related to company engineering and design, drawing standards, practices, procedures, and archiving for North American projects regarding all aspects of the project scope.
- Responsible for and own major project mechanical systems design and functional engineering scopes of projects being accountable to the project manager in aspects of quality of design and engineering, scope control, cost and schedule and performance expectations for mechanical systems, all while minimizing total life cycle costs.
- Develop and deliver major project mechanical systems scopes, technical specifications, designs, conceptual and detail estimates, planning and detail schedules, construct ability input and review, checkout and commissioning support, performance requirements and results, and overall mechanical systems scope delivery for complex, multi-disciplined industrial manufacturing capital projects primarily in North America, with some limited opportunity for global projects.
- Typically, several major projects will be supported concurrently in various phases of implementation through leadership and management of the Mechanical Systems group.
- On a limited basis, provide complete project management responsibilities for process and mechanical systems design focused capital projects of medium size and medium complexity.
- Be responsible for and own complete projects from idea inception to closeout, being accountable as the project manager for design and engineering quality, scope, cost, schedule, quality of outcome, all while minimizing total life cycle costs.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of project responsibilities, setting deadlines, delegating work, and monitoring and summarizing progress and issues on projects.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering with a minimum of 15 years of applicable work experience in mechanical, elector mechanical, and fluid process systems that support intensive continuous and discrete manufacturing processes and plants. Direct experience working with and applying process intensive, continuous and discrete manufacturing processes and systems and equipment theories, design principles and practices and design evaluation techniques .
- Proven experience in identifying, selecting and managing external resources (including consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors)Proven ability to work with and influence a multi-discipline team and management with a demonstrated capability to implement plans and follow through with sustained execution, meeting project milestones in a timely manner working collaboratively with internal and external resources .
