Job Description:
Location:Canton, Ohio
Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prepare steel and concrete bridge and culvert designsPrepare plans and specificationsProject management from inception to completionTechnical report writing .
Qualifications:
BS or MS from ABET accredited university in the field of Civil/ Structural EngineeringA minimum of eight (8) years of applicable experienceProfession Engineer, or the ability to become licensed in OhioProficient using Micro Station, AutoCAD is a plus .
Experience with Ohio department of Transportation preferredPossess the ability to work independently or collaborativelyStrong communication, leadership and time management skills .
Proficient using software programs for general structural analysis, as well as, the design of superstructure and substructure components .
Perform bridge condition inspections and inspection reports are a plusRetaining wall, structural foundation design, hydraulic analysis and permitting experience are a plusAbility to supervise, mentor and train younger staffAbility to check others designs and calculations
