JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Programmer Analyst will provide 2nd tier support of software systems, analyze business requirements, and provide new solutions or enhancements to existing applications.
• The candidate will be a member of the Applications Group providing project and end-user support.
• The Programmer Analyst will report to the Information Systems Manager and will be responsible for the following:Participating as an active team member in all assigned projects and support tickets.
• Consulting with project managers, stakeholders, and vendors to define program intent, identify problems, and implement change requests.Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner.
• Providing analysis and enhancements to existing applications.Independently design program specifications, write code, and test software.
• Implement and maintain complex queries, stored procedures, and databases.All other assigned duties.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

NecessaryProgramming:

• 7-10 years in the manufacturing sector.
• 7-10 years with the Microsoft .NET Framework.7-10 years writing perform ant queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in all phases of the SDLC.Experience using VCS in a distributed environment.

Business analysis:

• Must be able to conduct requirements gathering and perform functional analysis.
  

Project Management:

• Must be able to create project estimates and prioritize tasks.Must be able to take a lead programming role.Self-starter.
• Must be able to work independently, anticipate learning needs, and react accordingly.

PreferredProgramming:

• 5-10 years with Microsoft Dynamics AX.Experience implementing design and architecture patterns.Experience using SCM tools and techniques.Experience using TFS in a distributed environment.
