Senior Software Engineer

Duration:6 months

Responsibilities:

• Define, design, develop, and deploy applications, services, and proof of concepts to support new Mobility Connected Vehicles products and features
  
• Ensure quality, on-time delivery using agile, test driven development principles
  
• Collaborate with a balanced team of developers to deliver projects/features
  
• Span multiple environments (Vehicle, Cloud, Mobile) to support end-to-end feature delivery
  
• Java/.Net development experience
  
• Experience with Cloud environments (Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
  
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies
  
• Experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management, Test Management, CI/CD, etc.)
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Experience working independently as well as on a team
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills & Experience Preferred:

• Automotive software delivery experience highly preferred
  
• Open Source software experience and contributions
  
• Familiarity with other common programming/scripting languages (e.g. Python)
  
• Experience with iOS/Android/PWA Development
  
• Development experience in multiple programming environments (Mobile, Vehicle Cloud, Embedded)

Education Required: BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
