Job Description:

Duties

•Provide configuration and administrative support of self-hosted (server) and cloud JIRA and Confluence.
•Create and copy projects.
•Design and implement custom workflows, fields, permission schemes, post functions, etc.
•Build filters, custom dashboards, and reports.
•Coordinate and respond to support requests.
•Manage and update software and licenses.
•Install, configure, test, and manage plug-ins.
•Troubleshoot and fix errors common to JIRA Applications and Application servers
•Administer JIRA instances on a day to day basis
•Manage user permissions to projects
•Research and implement Atlassian best practices
•Actively develop and improve JIRA skill set by keeping aware of JIRA industry trends, tools, and techniques
•Train staff on JIRA/Confluence and navigating our projects and space
•Basic understanding of agile project methodology including SCRUM and Kanban
•Knowledge of other Atlassian products offered through Atlassian marketplace such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Testrail, XRay
 
Skills Required:
 
•3+ years of hands-on experience managing JIRA & Confluence
•Experience administering and customizing JIRA projects, experience performing migrations
•Ability to create complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, security schemes, screen schemes, JIRA vocabulary, permission and notification schemes
•Fluency in Confluence including security, spaces, basic design, integration with JIRA
•Experience building, managing and enforcing standards.
•Ability to effectively prioritize work, troubleshoots issues and completes tasks on time
•Detail-oriented
