Solution Architect - Sitecore
Summary:
The Solution Architect owns the architecture part of a customer-facing solution (web sites). This requires developing a good knowledge of the Marketing strategy, then applying a technical expertise (Sitecore environment mainly) to recommend the best technical options and support development teams. She/he provides a high level of technical expertise in the setup, best practice of a Sitecore environment and guide the development teams. The Solution Architect has a strong customer focus, and with a passion for the quality of the customer experience, the design and execution of solutions that delight the companies customers The Solution Architect also works closely with product owners (Marketing) to recommend innovative solutions and to guide through execution.
Responsibilities:
- Support the transformation of the companies web channels using Sitecore and .net framework. The company will re-design and re-implement its web presence in 2020 and the Solution Architect will play a critical role in partnership with Marketing product owners
- Complex Sitecore configurations, Sitecore customization, code build and deployment using TFS and MS build. The Solution Architect will support a team of developers on shore and offshore, including third parties and agencies
- Support the targets for reliability, speed and quality, including participating to platform design and building DevOps processes
- Recognized as SME for multiple applications, development platforms, development tools or technologies
- Communicates the impact of technical challenges to senior IT and Marketing leadership
- Collaborates with other IT functions to design solutions for complex problems and understands end-to-end business processes. The company uses Salesforce CRM (Pardot for Marketing automation)
- Design and help develop integration solutions with other enterprise applications
- Design and help develop data migration strategies and tools
- Work independently with minimal supervision and may lead a development team as part of a larger project
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience in following areas:
- Experience developing custom features and enhancements with Sitecore CMS (version 9.x preferred)
- Experience in build and deployment to multiple Sitecore environments
- Experience integrating business systems
- Demonstrated ability working in collaborative team environments setting priorities and achieving results
- Supporting an enterprise CMS, WEB or other business systems
- Multiple Sitecore CMS implementations using .NET MVC
- Sound experience in .NET MVC and Sitecore
- Good communication skills with a desire to learn and deliver in global team environment
- Experience working with one or more rich Internet technologies such as JavaScript and JS frameworks (JQuery/Node.js, Angular.js etc.), HTML5, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Sitecore® Experience Platform™ preferably in Sitecore 9.0 +
- Managing Single customer view using IAM tools
- Exposure to Sitecore content Hub and Digital Asset management
