JobDescription:

Asolution architect is responsible for the design of one or more applications orservices within an organization, and is typically part of a solutiondevelopment team. He or she must have a balanced mix of technical and businessskills, and will often work with an enterprise architect for strategicdirection. The main focus is on the technical decisions being made regardingthe solution and how they impact the business outcomes. The rest of thedevelopment team will then use the information to implement the solution.

Asolutions architect needs significant people and process skills. They are oftenin front of management, trying to explain a complex problem in laymen's terms.They have to find ways to say the same thing using different words fordifferent types of audiences, and they also need to really understand thebusiness' processes in order to create a cohesive vision of a usable product

Depthunderstanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS, specifically:

• App Services, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server IaaS implementation, Availability sets, Azure Networking concepts, Express Route, DNS, Load Balancing, Storage
• Knowledge about the challenges and considerations to be catered for while migrating applications from on-premise to Azure. Technology architecture which meet HA, DR, Availability, RPO & RTO requirements of the application
• Migrating applications to Cloud using Tools like AppZero, ASR etc will be nice to have.
• Fundamental knowledge of AWS is desirable and understanding on how Azure IaaS v/s AWS IaaS compares to each other and conceptual knowledge of AWS RDS is desired.
• Soft Skills such as writing Proposals and Presenting up to C-Levels is a must
• Microsoft Azure certification desirable

Inaddition to above, perform following functions on cloud:

• application architecture (web, Jboss, database)
• containerization
• Azure functions
• database construction
