MED/SURG REGISTERED NURSE

Job Summary: The Medical Surgical Unit Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical/surgical setting. The registered nurse communicates with physicians, nurse manager, and co-workers as appropriate regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition; including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology. The nurse can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, the nurse can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Regulatory Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse license within the State of Idaho.
Current BLS Certification required.
Previous and/or current Medical Surgical Unit experience recommended but not required.
ACLS certified upon hire recommended. Obtain within 90-days of hire required.
PALS certified upon hire recommended. Obtain within 90-days of hire required.
