Job Details

The Behavioral Health RN will:
Plan for 24hr care by assessing, monitoring, and documenting level of functioning, health status, mental status, medical history, medication compliance and treatment needs.
Interpret and carry out physician orders.
Responsible for accurate documentation and maintaining complete records.
Accept responsibility for updating and increasing skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.
Supervise and evaluates assigned staff and directs work assignments.
Assists in orientation of new employees.

Job Requirements
Required Education:

• Completionof a Nursing Diploma Program or Associates’ degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing ispreferred.

Required License/Certification:

• ValidNC or multistate RN License            
• BLS
• Hospital approved Behavioral ManagementProgram will be provided.
