Responsibilities

Responsible for management of the supply chain group insupport of fiber optic cable production and finished goods transportation tocustomers
Oversee activities of the various teams, which includesplanning & scheduling, raw material supply, optical fiber supply, and thedistribution center
Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in linewith company policies and standards
Work with third-party logistics suppliers and freightcompanies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintainingcost-effective practices
Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues orputting
alternative plans in place
Participate in the SIOP (sales, inventory &operations planning) review
cycle to ensure proper goals are established each month
Develop SIOP process for the Jackson facility, includingLoose Tube and
Drop cables
Managing inventory levels in accordance with appropriatetargets, to
include VMI programs
Developing safety guidelines, teaching, and enforcing theprotocols
Supervising and training employees
Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy,using APICS principles
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Serviceteams
Determine key supply chain KPIs - on-time shipment,inventory levels,
DIO, production volume (fkm & ckm)
Suggest solutions for process improvements
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in atimely manner
Train and evaluate others
Provide constructive feedback
