Job Description

• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience as a Network engineer working on LAN, WAN, SD-WAN technologies.

• Deep technical expertise across multiple technical domains including Cloud computing, Cloud Networking, Network Design & Implementation.

• Strong technical knowledge on Routing, VPNs, NACLs, Subnets, SGs and good understanding of IPV6 addressing.

• Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring Cisco/Viptela SDWAN products.

• Experience in capacity planning, QoS, and intelligent/optimal path selection methodologies.

• Good understanding of Network Monitoring Solutions and ability to configure integration of Cisco routers, SDWAN devices to NMS and systems.

• Strong experience working on enterprise network solutions such as Cisco Routers, Nex-gen Firewalls (PaloAlto preferred), IPS, DDOS, Proxy and SIEM solutions.

• Strong technical knowledge on AWS Infrastructure & security services (EC2, ELB, Guardduty, Config, Inspector, Security Hub, RDS, Route53, S3, vpc, vpn, tgw, cloudwatch, cloudtrail, eventbridge, etc.)

• Hands on experience in terraform IaC deployments and ability to implement network automation.

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis of incidents, and problem-solving skills to support network incidents.

• Ability to plan, test and execute Configuration changes and IOS upgrades as per the vendor recommendations.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to think critically and be responsive to time sensitive requests.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information systems, related discipline or equivalent experience

• Certifications on Networking, Routing (Cisco preferred).

-Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members

-Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility

-Participate in data conversion and data maintenance

-Provide best practice and industry specific solutions

-Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions

-Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.

-Participate as a team member of the functional team

-Perform other duties as assigned.
