Job Summary:

We are looking for a contract Senior Software Engineer to assist in developing robust cross platform applications that enable studios to create movies and TV shows efficiently. 

Full stack development of robust workflow-based applications.

Work with management and other developers to implement elegant and user-friendly interfaces for all new modules and/or applications.

Ensure code is developed, deployed, documented and maintained in keeping with IS guidelines.

Assist developers from other departments in working with IS data and framework.

Write UI and unit tests

Bug fixes and enhancement requests for existing applications

Participate in code reviews, follow coding best practices, test new concepts and technologies 

What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree.

• 8+ years experience in professional software development.
• JavaScript fluency and expertise using modern frameworks like Vue and React
• Python fluency
• Linux proficiency.
• Database/SQL experience.
• Full stack web development experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills
• Able to accommodate occasional domestic and/or international travel JavaScript libraries: Vue.js, jQuery, Angular, React Web frameworks: Django, Flask
• Web servers: Nginx, uWSGI
• Data stores/tools: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Redis, RabbitMQ, Solr
• Tools: Virtualenv, py.test, Ansible, Cypress
• Virtualization: AWS, VMWare, Docker
