Position: Senior Mainframe Developer 

Location: Wilmington, DE (Day 1 Onsite Work)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Note: Candidate should have strong experience in IMS

Job Description:

• 10 to 12 Years of experience in the Mainframe & Java Modernisation space.
• The Candidate has experience in understanding the requirements for the Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration. 
• Tech stack used is Java FSD, Python, Mainframe technologies(COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS,MQ) etc as mandatory, The Candidate was part of the LMCOE (Legacy Migration) in his previous engagement. 
• Should have knowledge in automation tools in developing the problem statement using Python. 
• Experience and worked on the Mainframe Modernization in migration On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud Migration to Azure, Migration to Microfocus. 
• Should have good understanding in building the team composition for Migration Projects Programming experience on Mainframe COBOL/CICS/JCL/IMS/DB2 
• Strong in triaging production issues using all the basic tools in Mainframe. Knowing Java/distributed solutions will be super plus Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
• Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.
