As our new Data Scientist Tech Lead, you’ll be a key player in transforming data into actionable insights, steering critical projects, and mentoring a talented team to unlock the full potential of our data.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a high-performing team of data scientists, guiding them through project lifecycle stages — from conceptualization to deployment.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to design and implement data-driven solutions that directly impact business outcomes.
• Architect and deploy machine learning models and algorithms at scale, focusing on high-impact projects in [relevant domain, e.g., customer analytics, predictive modeling, NLP, etc.].
• Take ownership of our data strategy: ensure data integrity, innovate in data preprocessing and feature engineering, and evaluate model performance.
• Stay ahead of the curve by experimenting with emerging technologies, keeping our team at the forefront of the industry.
• Mentor junior data scientists, sharing your knowledge and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused team environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: 5+ years in data science or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Education: Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Strong background in Python, R, SQL, and major ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and mentoring data science teams with a collaborative, results-oriented approach.
• Problem-Solving: Highly analytical with a knack for creative, data-driven solutions.
• Bonus Points: Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
