Job Description:

Specialist will provide a support role to the Metadata & Publishing Supervisor focusing the technical support and administration of Metadata related processes, XML Partner Publishing, New Partner On-boarding, Reporting and Production Asset Management workflows as a part of the larger Encoding & Fulfillment team here at A+E. Specialist will also provide overflow coverage with respect to the Metadata data entry/approval requirements as appropriate; in order to ensure that client metadata fulfillment is accurate, timely, and meets all client requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide project management support for Production Asset Management (PAM) and Publishing Systems. Serve as technical liaison to engineering and IT teams with respect to Metadata and Publishing needs. Lead new partner onboarding as relates to metadata and publishing requirements, including XSD validation and XML scripting according to client requirements. Assist supervisor in on-going strategic workflow development and support. Lead publishing error resolution effort. Provide overflow coverage for metadata entry, approval, and reporting needs. Candidate will be engaged in a client facing publishing support role with our internal business clients as well as with external business partners such as Hulu, YouTube, iTunes, Xfinity TV, AT&T, DirecTV, GooglePlay, Microsoft Xbox, Time Warner, Sony and Amazon. Required Experience: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2+ years in project management. 3+ years experience within digital publishing environment, a plus. Deep understanding of XML, XSD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel formulas and macros), and Search Engine Optimization. Understanding of computer programming logic. Knowledge in the following languages is a plus (Java, PHP, AppleScript, Python, MySQL, Microsoft Access). Required Education: Undergraduate degree required or equivalent work related experience.
