Position: Ruby Developer Location: RichField,MN Duration: 6 Months Domain- E commerce Ruby Developer is needed to design and create new, highly scalable applications, and extension and maintenance of existing applications. Primarily in Ruby, you\'ll be engaged in Pair Programming, Refactoring, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD). As part of the self-directed, high performance team, you must be able to articulate design ideas for a system and collaborate with a team to reach a decision Responsibilities/Deliverables: Maintain Ruby, Rails, NoSQL based product content applications Deliver in an Agile collaborative environment Design new areas of application to meet business needs Interact with AWS Console to manage remote infrastructure Work with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef and Vagrant The ideal candidate: Is self-directed and shared collective ownership for design decisions Uses the best tools for the job, be those open source or otherwise Comfortable in a pair programming environment Strong favors TDD and BDD development methodologies Up to date with current tools and techniques Comfortable working in an agile environment Comfortable working in an Apple MacBook development environment Ruby Programming 3+ years Ruby testing frameworks (e.g. rspec or minitest)- 3+ Years Agile delivery 3 Years Pair Programming Test Driven Development Git Source Control Development in Unix and Mac environments RESTful web services 3+ years Nice to have Ruby on Rails, or similar Ruby web development framework Experience with Queues and Queuing frameworks (e.g. RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ) 1 + Years Experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo and Cassandra) 1 + Years Experience with Infrastructure Automation (Vagrant and Chef) 1 + Years Experience with Content Management Systems 1 + Years Technologies: Ruby MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS Ruby Testing Frameworks - MUST HAVE 3 + YEARS Java 2 + Years Spring 2 + Years Preferred: Queues and Queuing Frameworks (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ) 1 + Years NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) 1 + Years Content Management Experience 1+ Years
