Job Description:
Essential daily job functions may include:
- Support implementation of new functionality.
- Configure, test and support rollout of new system functionality and enhancements.
- Ensure activities are delivered on time and in budget; escalate risks/issues pro-actively.
- Develop and maintain system and process documentation to support system changes and enhancements Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into system requirements Provide on-going support of existing and newly rolled out functionality Document, implement, test and support rollout of system changes Support vendor upgrades/new releases of solutions Support resolution of escalated items Manage changes in support of data privacy and protection requirements Provide support of system data including but not limited to: Mass changes, uploads, re-organizations Business reporting, operational metrics and people analytics Support processing of employee personal data changes, new hires, promotions, separations, employee status changes, and other employee lifecycle events Assists in orienting and training new human resources users by demonstrating software and providing instruction and direction in system capabilities.
- Supports data auditing to ensure quality and integrity of data in the Workday HCM system of record.
- BS degree in Business Administration, HR, or other related experience Minimum of 3 years HR systems experience in a business environment Demonstrated ability to work with multiple HR systems Proven technical skill set including Workday HCM experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills Knowledge of HR processes, policies and procedures
- Experience with HRIS and payroll Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
- Ability to manage with minimal supervision Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, prioritize requests, adapt well to change, and work in a fast paced environment Must be able to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality
- Experience working in a matrix organization Strong project management experience
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees (customers) while maintaining an enthusiastic, professional demeanor during interactions
- Knowledge of Kronos and Safeguard International
