Business Intelligence Developer - Microstrategy

Location: Irvine, CA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Create basic and advanced reports, dashboards, and scorecards using MicroStrategy.
Ability to translate business reporting requirements into a production report.
Create report mockups and templates from business requirements when necessary.
Understand and query disparate database sources, including relational structures, dimensional data marts/models and cubes.
Work collaboratively in a small, cross-functional team.
Interface with, and understand analytical reporting needs of the business stakeholder.

Education/Experience:

BA/BS Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and or experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in MicroStrategy report development.
Minimum 4 years of experience writing SQL procedures and queries.
Computer Skills
Strong experience with writing SQL queries in SQL Server (or equivalent)
Experience with Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
Experience working with MicroStrategy and SQL Server
