Job Description:

Role:DevOps Linux Engineer
Location:Troy,MI
Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the Development/Test/Stage server infrastructure used for internal Engineering projects and the Pay Anywhere mobile products. Installing OS updates, patches, performance tuning and general troubleshooting.
Help develop the release strategy for various web-based projects.
Support the provisioning, dynamic configuration and monitoring and administration of Linux servers within the environments contained in the DTS zones.
Develop detailed support and implementation documentation.
Participating in on-call support and release rotation.

Job RequirementsSkills / Attributes Required:

5+ years of experience of IT experience. 3+ years as a DevOps Linux Engineer or Linux Systems Administrator.
Experience with programming/scripting languages (such as Bash, PERL, Python, Java and PHP) Adept with database configurations and basic support for Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL. Experience supporting distributed / load balanced web applications.
Experience with Build Automation Tools (Puppet Labs, Ansible, Docker).
Experience with CI Tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Hudson, or similar).
Experience with distributed version control systems (Git, Mercurial, Stash, Bitbucket, SVN). Ability to adapt quickly to an existing and complex environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player.
Candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
