Create and execute strategies for driving organic growth including but not limited to site content and link-building, authority building, blogging, and posting Determine search volume and relative competition/difficulty score for target keywords as well as search trends for those keywords
Guide the optimization of the corporate website for target keyword rankings and stickiness Identify and leverage new SEO trends, behaviors and technologies to optimize efforts and drive channel growth
Ensure SEO strategy aligns with and is consistent with PR, offline marketing, and indirect strategies
Manage day-to-day execution of SEO strategies Through a combination of internal and outside resources, develop and manage original and contributed content including blogs, articles, whitepapers, videos, and eBooks.
Write engaging content based on keyword research and relevant, interesting topics Provide ongoing support, reporting and performance/cost analysis
Manage the SEO marketing plan including oversight of budgets and performance metrics
Create and distribute monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports Liaise with sales team to ensure they are kept informed of new content and initiatives
Perform competitor research to evaluate competing keywords, rankings, content strategies, and trends
