Job Description

The Finance Analyst plays a critical role within the companys Finance team.
This position reports to the Director of Finance and will work closely with finance managers, senior financial analysts and various departments.
In this role you will focus on the following areas: Monthly revenue forecasts Sales commissions and rebates estimates
Annual forecasts Capital budgets Assists with COGS forecasts Participate in the development of presentations to inform the Senior Management and the Board of Directors of the companys financial performance
Experience with use and implementation of financial systems strongly desired, Host Analytics experience preferred
Strong Excel experience required (pivots, look-ups, etc.)
Financial analysis of department budgets to support decision making
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to drive conversations
Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with business and financial acumen
Must be an excellent team player capable of earning the confidence of other groups
Solid organizational and planning skills, bright, with a strong work ethic,Flexible, \'special-projects\' orientation coupled with the ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
Occasional stint as a buyer to help with purchasing overload and help learn the order to pay cycle
Technology industry experience preferred
Position is based in Irvine, CA but candidate must be flexible to work from our Carlsbad, CA location on occasion
Bachelors plus 2 years of experience in corporate finance or related area
